Vehicles don’t have to be brand new to be built clean and impressive.  Mark Overcash has built and rebuilt his 1984 S-15 a couple times.  Each time, improving on the last.

Mark calls China Grove, NC home.  He is a member of Wicked Creations, an auto club based in Salisbury.  You may have seen him and his truck at shows in the Southeast, or as far as Pigeon Forge.  Truckin’ Magazine found him hangin’ at Myrtle Beach in August 2000.  Since then, he’s made a few more changes.

Having a camper shell and walk-thru worked for Mark for a few years, but he was ready for a change. Replacing a shell with a bed cover is easy, but isn’t welding in the back wall a little extreme?  That’s what he wanted, so that’s what Steve Jolly did.

Steve, better known as ‘Jolly,’ is also responsible for the previous bodywork and spraying the gorgeous paint.  Jolly shaved the door handles, antenna, emblems, taillights, and tailgate handle, via a smooth skin, and flipped the handle to the inside.  Once the bodywork was complete, it was ready for paint.  Colors include a ‘secret’ orange, Porsche blue, and Kawasaki green.  Mark Tucker showed off his talent by taping out the ‘ghost’ flames.

To complete the outside, many things had to come together to get it ‘just right.’  Up front, the truck sports a smooth chrome bumper, a chrome one-piece grille shell, and a fully polished billet ‘phantom.’  For that not-so-obvious touch, ‘diamondback’ halogen headlight conversions were tucked behind the phantom, which do much better than the old sealed beam stockers.  Those ‘ghost’ flames look right at home on the Goodmark steel cowl induction hood.
