Trux come in many flavors, and this one is no exception.

David and his friend, Samuel Sturm, performed many mod’s.  Some are easily noticed, but it takes a few trips around the pink machine to pick them all out.  The most apparent is the 3 ½” bodydrop.  Since it’s home is flat on the ground, air bags were installed.  FBI fast bags, a 7-gallon air tank, two Thomas compressors, and 3/8” valves are all plumbed with ½” line.  David says it’ll hop!  We saw it scrapes!  Nitto 555 215/35R18 rubber wraps the Billet Specialties 18x7” ‘GT 93’ hoops

Lil’ ‘Heart Burn’ has been shaven like a good… ride should be.  The shaving included door handles, locks, antenna, mirrors, wiper cowl, gas door, taillights, cab seams, and front signals, both on the corners and the bumper.

A tailgate/rollpan combo from FBI smoothes out the tail.  The inside of the bed was also slicked out nicely.

The body trix I usually like the most are the subtle ones that usually involve double-takes.  The first time I saw David’s truck, the hood treatment is what caught my eye.

Even with a bodydrop, he was able to retain the factory hood.  This keeps from drawing your attention to the fact that he cut the leading edge off, and welded it to the fenders, making for a flat hood.  That’s trick!  Another such addition is the LED taillights molded into the back of the cab just below the window.

A ‘phantom’ billet grille, smoothie bumper, and bumper insert finish out the front.
